Captured Time

Man, space, time are the three key words of the research of Kira Lev.

Elements that vary in each of its images, but which remain in their essence.

In her photos there is an analysis of the different facets of human nature, without, however, presenting the narratives of any kind.

The task of the artist, according to Lev, is to transmit in the recovery of the sense of the passage of time, in daily events. It is difficult to define within the process that takes place in each of her photos, the threshold between the personal space of the artist and the one investigated by the camera.

Captured Time investigates the permanence of the body in space. The viewer is so involved, is likely to be found in the work of Lev, through a play of sensations and fantasies.
