Kira Lev (b. 1988,  Rostov-on-Don, Russia) lives and works in Milan, Italy. 

She graduated from the P.I. Tchaikovsky music school in 2002 (piano class) and Russian Academy of Justice in 2011.

 Since 2010 she constantly does photography (portrait photography, street photography, fashion). 

In 2016 she exhibited in her first solo exhibition in Rostov-sul-Don. In 2019 she participated in Mia Photo Fair with her Project “Captured Time”.

She photographs in the studios, the main feature of which is always the work with the light, with the shadow and with the subject.

Passionate about studying the human body, she started a photographic research on the portrait in black-and-white, – the way to tell the intimate story of not only one person, but also the society.
